You’ve got quite a bit of experience with Summer Takeover – tell us how you got into it.

I applied to be a rep, and was brought in for an interview.  Little did I know that the boys were actually speaking to me about a permanent position after seeing some potential in my CV – and here I am today!  I’ve done two seasons as a rep to date, so I fully understand what working abroad with Summer Takeover is like.

Where did you do the seasons then?  What was it like?

I did Zante for my first season and Ibiza the second year.  I really enjoyed working in Zante, it was good fun with loads of boat parties and the strip is huge!  Ibiza was a bit wilder, I’m glad I saved for my second season and had a bit more experience as you definitely need to be confident out there.  I think it’ll have to be Magaluf this year as I haven’t been yet!

And when you’re in the office what do you do?

I manage the bookings, deal with most of the enquiries and keep everyone in line…  Each day is different, but if one things certain it’s that I’ll have at least 150 emails to get through every morning!

What’s the best thing about working for Summer Takeover?

I’ve made some friends for life working here, literally Ride or Die types.  I’ve been able to really get to know the resorts whilst I’ve been out working as a rep, which means I’m able to give people advice based on my own experience.  It’s a great environment to work in as well, the directors are so enthusiastic and passionate about the brand, it’s inspiring.

So what do you do in your spare time Eve?

Well, I’m just looking for love really.  I spend most of my time on Tinder, or going on dates.  Looking for Mr Right, as long as he’s over 5 ft 10 I’m game to try him out.  I was hoping to meet someone through Summer Takeover actually, maybe a bit of a holiday romance sort of thing.  I also do a bit of running, I’m starting to train for a marathon at the minute – hoping to do the Great North Run in September.

Why would you recommend Summer Takeover to potential guests?

This is a young company, we know how to have fun.  The welcome week sums everything up perfectly I think – we pull out all the stops to make sure our guests have a good time, so that they can really start their working holiday with a bang!  With almost 15 years combined experience between us we know what we’re doing…

And lastly, what advice would you give to any first timers?

Don’t take it too seriously – you’re there to have as much fun as possible, so don’t sweat the small stuff!  Seriously, I went out in mismatched flip flops more times than I’d like to admit…

We imagine Eve will be taking the same mantra into the G’shore house with her!  For the chance to speak to a minor celebrity about anything Summer Takeover related, just give our office a call on 0191 349 9181.

We are still taking applications for Ayia Napa, Zante and Ibiza but these won’t be around for much longer, click here to kickstart your Summer
