How to find work in ibiza

So, you want to work in Ibiza? Whether you're looking for a job in one of the island's many clubs or restaurants, or you're hoping to snag a position as a tour guide, there are a few things you'll need to do to make sure you stand out from the competition.

For starters, be confident! Show your potential employers that you know what you're doing, and that you're the best person for the job. Smile, have fun, and let your personality shine through.

Next, be willing to trial. Many employers will want to see how you work before they commit to hiring you, so be prepared to do a trial shift or two. This is also a great opportunity for you to show off your skills and impress your potential boss.

Finally, don't forget to consider the season. If you're hoping to work in Ibiza during the summer months, it's best to start applying for positions in early spring. That way, you'll have a better chance of securing your dream job before the season gets underway.

As our most expensive resort to live in, this is reflected by the wages in Ibiza. In peak season you can earn more than €100 per day, work hard and you’ll be rewarded. Much better than picking up shifts in the local pub, no?

The average wage hovers at around €50 per shift - this is a great basic when you consider the potential of tips and commission on top... Time to turn the charm on then!

Is It Expensive To Live In ibiza?

Cost of living is reasonable in Ibiza and you will find that the minimum wage is enough for your monthly allowances. Also, Summer Takeover will help with the funding of your social life. We offer our guests a whole range of generous discounts, such as wristbands for free or cheaper entry to clubs, or your name on the guestlist.

Our helpful staff can also recommend the best bars and restaurants for you to visit which offer cheap deals. You’ll find that a lot of the main tourist bars have higher prices, but with our suggestions of the more local hangouts, you’ll find that the prices are much lower.
