Once you’ve secured your place you’ll be added into a private Facebook group, and given login details for our very own workers social network, SummerSphere, so you can get chatting to all the other guests before you go.

When is the best time to go to marbella?

You can work until your heart’s content from May - September. Our packages suit all arrival dates, so it all depends on when you want to go.

For the die-hards that want to maximise their summer and do a full season, get yourself out there as early as possible. Marbella will always be busy, so don’t worry if you can’t go out until later on. July/August is peak season with sky high temperatures, if you want to stay on after this our talented reps will be able to scout out further accommodation for you, so you can see in the closing parties in style!


What are the wages like in marbella?

With many roles being commissioned based, the earning potential for wages in Marbella is massive. Granted, you’ll probably need this, as the cost of living is comparatively higher than our other resorts, but tips are extremely generous so don’t be surprised when you’re being handed multiple notes as a thank you for your hard work.


How many hours a day will I be working in marbella?

Hours and shifts will vary depending on your job of choice for working in Marbella. Ticket sellers can expect to be out enhancing their tan on the job, whilst bar workers will obviously start later. The average shift is between 4-6 hours, leaving you with plenty of time post shift to party in the infamous nightclubs like Olivia Valère, Tibu and Funky Buddha.

How do I find jobs in marbella?

What happens when I arrive in marbella?

Our reps will meet you at the hotel to get you all settled in to work in Marbella. This is when the party begins - treat this first week as the holiday part of your working abroad experience.

Between welcome meetings, Summer Takeover bar crawls, epic parties and sightseeing you won’t have a spare moment!

Keeping it classy, we’ll show you around everywhere there is to see so you can scope out your favourite spots. From the champagne sprays of Ocean Club to the bright lights of Linekars, then enjoy the warm evening air of Pangea before heading off to News Cafe. It won’t be long before you’re calling the place home!

By day six you’ll be starting into your job trials, whether it’s bar work or shot selling, it won’t take long to find a position. Congratulations, you’ve officially been initiated into worker life; time to make the most of your summer in Marbella and live the dream


What happens after my first month with Summer Takeover?

After the initial 28 days you’ll have the option to extend your stay in our accommodation at a discounted rate, or our devoted reps can assist in finding alternative accommodation if you’d prefer.

Visas & Work Permits

If you are an EU national and/or hold a passport issued in an EU country you will likely not need to concern yourself with a work permit/visa however we would always advise you to check this prior to travel. If you are unsure of your right to work or have any questions about the process, please reach out to us.
