This was definitely a summer to remember. Summer takeover were a massive help on the job front and great people who you could speak to whether you just wanted a chat or if you had a problem. Very friendly and would recommend anyone who want to go out and work through ST. They provided me a job on Tidal as a VIP host and it was hands down the best job on the island, making friends for life.

One of the reasons Magaluf is such a popular resort for working holidays is because the wages in Magaluf are so high - it’s our best paying location. Average wages can be anything around €75 per day and that’s not including your tips or commission.
In peak season, the right roles will easily take home over €100 per shift - with such cheap drink prices you won’t know what to do with all your money!
Hours and shifts will vary depending on your job of choice when working in Magaluf. Ticket selling usually takes place during the day - preparing the revellers for the night ahead whilst also enhancing your tan. Bar work obviously starts later, leaving your days free to lounge by the pool or explore Magaluf. The average shift is between 4-6 hours, which leaves you with plenty of free time to explore Magaluf’s amazing attractions, such as the Hotel BH Mallorca Waterpark, try your hand at karting or mini golf, and laze around on the beautiful beaches.
As the pay is so good and the shifts are so short, most of our Summer Takeover crew work every day to maximise their earnings. See our Jobs tab for more information about the types of jobs you can find in Magaluf.
If you are an EU national and/or hold a passport issued in an EU country you will likely not need to concern yourself with a work permit/visa however we would always advise you to check this prior to travel.
