With 6km of beaches, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to picking a sunbathing location. Some bars offer happy hour, every hour, so if you want to spend an afternoon off working your way through an extensive cocktail menu, you'll not be left feeling too out of pocket.

When is the best time to go to benidorm?

The season runs from May to September. We'd recommend committing to a minimum of two months if you're not able to do the full season so you can experience as much as possible - a month will definitely not be long enough! If it's your first time working abroad, we recommend going out earlier, it's easier to get your bearings when it's a little quieter than to jump in at the deep end mid season.


What are the wages like in benidorm?

The wages in Benidorm are generous, and this will go far as the cost of living is minimal. You’ll never be strapped for cash when working in Benidorm, which means extra money for the party fund!

If you really want to make money, try ticket selling or shot selling - commission based rolls always have the highest earning potential.


How many hours a day will I be working in benidorm?

Hours and shifts for working in Benidorm will vary depending on your job of choice. Ticket sellers usually work during the day, whilst bar workers will obviously start later. The average shift is between 4-6 hours, this leaves you with plenty of free time to visit the waterpark, lounge by the beach, or even try the local paintball track.

How do I find jobs in benidorm?

Finding jobs in Benidorm with Summer Takeover is a doddle. Our dedicated team of reps will help you to find a job, making sure you’re happy with your position for the summer.

Not only can they provide detailed information about all the bars, clubs, restaurants and events that are recruiting staff, they'll make sure you know when recruitment days are on and will get trial shifts setup on your behalf. All you have to do is show up, and put in a good shift.

Visas & Work Permits

If you are an EU national and/or hold a passport issued in an EU country you will likely not need to concern yourself with a work permit/visa however we would always advise you to check this prior to travel. If you are unsure of your right to work or have any questions about the process, please reach out to us.

What happens when I arrive in benidorm?

Our reps will meet you at the apartments to get you all settled in to working in Benidorm. This is when the party begins - treat this first week as the holiday part of your working abroad experience. Between welcome meetings, Summer Takeover bar crawls, epic parties and sightseeing you won’t have a spare moment!

We’ll begin proceedings with a good old knees up - you can get to know your fellow workers and plan anything special you want to do in the welcome week. Between Champion’s, Sinatra’s and a Morgan Tavern we’ll help you suss out your favourite spots, and when you’re ready to shake the hangover there’s plenty of beautiful scenery to explore.

By the end of the week, you’ll have some job trials set up. This doesn’t usually take long and you should have a job by the end of the day. Now you’re ready to start your Summer Takeover working holiday of a lifetime.


What happens after my first month with Summer Takeover?

After the initial 28 days you’ll have the option to extend your stay in our accommodation at a discounted rate, or our devoted reps can assist in finding alternative accommodation if you’d prefer.
