What to expect in Ayia Napa?
How could we even begin to describe the madness of Ayia Napa? As one of our biggest resorts it certainly has a lot going on, which is why our workers return year on year for a healthy dose of Cypriot sunshine. The nightlife is infamous, if you haven’t been before you’re in for a real treat. Why does it’s reputation precede it? A beautiful mix of discounted fishbowls, a lively strip, and amazing scenery to explore on your more chilled days.
Take your pick from foam parties, chilled drinks in quirky bars, fun filled days at the local water park , and multiple beaches to explore at your leisure. Foodies are in luck - Ayia Napa has plenty of experience restaurants with both entertainment and amazing food. In high season the temperatures can tilt towards the 40s, so make sure and stock up on plenty of suncream - you’re going to need it...
Your First Week
Day 1
Wednesday
Okay, its your first night in Ayia Napa so that call for one thing and one thing only…time to get messy. Starting with a 2 hour free bar in the hotel and then hitting some of the best (and cheapest) bars and clubs that the infamous Napa strip has to offer. Prepare yourself and remember its a marathon not sprint!
Day 2
Thursday
The Party just doesn’t stop in Ayia Napa its time for hands down the best weekly pool party which is hosted in our very own hotel. When dusk arrives prepare for an event like no other. Pambos Napa Rocks Live brings you some of the hottest current artists starting at 10pm and going right through till 2am with an exclusive after party in the club located inside the hotel.
Day 3
Friday
After a couple of heavy night theres no better hangover cure than sunbathing around the pool with a ice cold cocktail. Recharge the batteries ready for a family meal in one of Ayia Napa’s best spots followed by one or two cocktails. Now that we have the first big night out of your system its time to get working on that dream summer job, so have a quiet one and make sure you're up early.
Day 4
Saturday
Its Saturday, our favourite day of the week. Today is about one thing…the biggest and best boat party to ever hit Napa. Fantasy is here (not for the faint hearted). A guaranteed sell out and a must do on the Ayia Napa party calendar. Its time for you to see what all the fuss is about! We’ll see you at the Pool Bar at 5pm sharp.
Day 5
Sunday
After arguably the biggest day of your first week Sunday is the perfect day to nurse your hangover better while chilling by the pool. Take it easy and rest up, tomorrow those of you who haven't secured that all important job just yet will continue the hunt as we look to make your dream a reality.
Day 6
Monday
For those who haven’t secured their perfect summer job just yet, Lets get down to some serious graft, come meet the rep team at the pool bar at 12pm, from here we will have a list of all the jobs we have available and match you up to something that we hope is a perfect fit for you! Please attend if you are serious about finding that dream summer job!
Day 7
Tuesday
We hope your first week has been everything you dreamt it would be and that you have now secured the perfect Ayia Napa summer Job! If you are having any issues no matter how big or small please let one of the rep team know as soon as possible. They are here to help you every step of the way.
Day 8
And Beyond...
Now your first week is over its time to settle down into the real Ayia Napa workers lifestyle. For those wanting to stay longer then your first month please speak to your rep about arranging further accommodation as soon as possible. The sooner you sort out further accommodation the better!

Just finished my second year abroad with Summer Takeover and they’ve made it just as amazing as the last!
This was definitely a summer to remember. Summer takeover were a massive help on the job front and great people who you could speak to whether you just wanted a chat or if you had a problem. Very friendly and would recommend anyone who want to go out and work through ST. They provided me a job on Tidal as a VIP host and it was hands down the best job on the island, making friends for life.
This was my second year with summer takeover and as normal there was no disappointment in it!

I went on the 16th of may, was a bit quiet at the start but couple weeks later it got rammed with workers and tourist's. I Had the privilege to work for tidal for the season it was insane. Met so many great people and i have life long friends from it, defiantly doing it again next season. Peace
Summer takeover was honestly best experience I had working abroad I’ve gone with this company two years in a row I would definitely recommend summer takeover to anyone who wants to work abroad.
I went with summer takeover and felt so welcomed any troubles or worry’s I had I felt very comfortable going to Dan and Jordan, they also helped me find a job which they made very easy within the first week and most importantly showed us the best time! Deffo recommended.

When is "THE SEASON" in Ayia Napa?
Our dates run from May to July, but you can stay on for the closing parties - we’ll help you secure further accommodation when you’re out there. If it’s your first time working abroad, we recommend going out earlier, it’s easier to get your bearings when it’s a little quieter than to jump in at the deep end mid season!
How do I find jobs in Ayia Napa?

What happens when I arrive?
Our reps will meet you at the hotel to get you all settled in to work in Ayia Napa. This is when the party begins - treat this first week as the holiday part of your working abroad experience. Between welcome meetings, Summer Takeover bar crawls, epic parties and sightseeing you won’t have a spare moment!
Come on an exclusive Summer Takeover bar crawl and get to know all your fellow workers, we’ll take you down the Napa strip and show you all the best spots. There’s loads of great spots along the beach for a milkshake and some greasy food to cure you.
By day six you’ll be starting into your job trials, get the champagne on ice as you should be celebrating an offer by that evening! Congratulations, you’ve officially been initiated into worker life; time to make the most of your summer in Ayia Napa and #LiveTheDream.
What happens after my first month with Summer Takeover?
After the initial 28 days you’ll have the option to extend your stay in our accommodation at a discounted rate, or our devoted reps can assist in finding alternative accommodation if you’d prefer.
Visas & Work Permits
If you are an EU national and/or hold a passport issued in an EU country you will likely not need to concern yourself with a work permit/visa however we would always advise you to check this prior to travel. If you are unsure of your right to work or have any questions about the process, please reach out to us.
