What we do with your information
Information submitted to SummerTakeover.com will be processed to:
- Populate the features that we provide as part of the SummerTakeover.com service

We compile statistics about user trends on our platform, which may be used by third party organisations to help us better understand how users interact with the products we offer. These statistics are drawn from a dataset that does not contain any information by which you can be identified.
How long we intend to keep your information
We will keep your data for as we are providing services to you or as long as you have a live account on our platform, whichever is the latter. You can delete your account by contacting us by email at support@SummerTakeover.com.
If you delete your account, the data will disappear from our live service; however, there will be a period during which your data will be held on our back-up systems. After this, all content that you created on SummerTakeover.com will be deleted permanently.
What user information we would like you to give to us
Initially, we ask you to provide your First Name and Last name in order to sign up for our service, along with your e-mail address. You can change these details once you are logged in to SummerTakeover.com, by using the Settings feature. You can also use the Settings feature to provide more user information, at your discretion.
If you wish to purchase a working holiday from us, we will need a lot more information from you, including your full name, passport number, data of birth, residential address, nationality and any health issues relevant to the accommodation services you wish to purchase (such as whether such accommodation needs to be wheelchair accessible).
What we do to ensure the security of your personal information
The information and content held on our platform is deployed geographically to maximise user experience. We take the security of your data very seriously. Our approach to information security is constantly evolving and continually reviewed.
We have adopted industry best practices from both technological and business process perspectives in order to make securing your data a key part of the way we do business.
Your rights regarding your personal information
We will contact you with updates concerning the services that we provide. You can opt in or opt out at any time you choose by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in these emails, and we will provide a list of contact options in the Settings area of our web interface.
Information we hold about you (including the comments you have made and the reviews you have written) is available to you at all times, by logging into SummerTakeover.com.

Our use of cookies:
- We use cookies to record when you've logged into our service (either via web or mobile) so you don't have to keep logging in for each new page; we also use our own cookies to recognise who you are when you return to our platform in a new visit.
- These cookies are an essential part of how our platform operates, and they greatly improve your user experience. Ironically, the banner that you saw the first time you looked at the website alerting you to the use of cookies makes use of a cookie itself, that would not be required were it not for the European Directive on the use of cookies.
- These cookies are used only by us, and the information they contain is not shared with anyone else.
